Nature Detectives helps visitors to learn how to identify native species.
With displays of sets of pelt, skull, & track casts of different animals, visitors go around to match up the pictures of the animals.
For older visitors, they examine the teeth of the skulls to determine what type of foods does the animal eat, if they are an herbivore, carnivore or omnivore.
This program has a handout for matching up pictures of the animals with the sets of specimens.
This program has a PowerPoint that covers camouflage, examining the skulls & a simple way to make a track cast.
